San Diego for 8 days for a family vacation
Cincinnati for 3 days with Grandpa Doug and Grandma Germaine
Nashville sightseeing for 5 days with Grandma Leah
Now we're ready to stay home and enjoy some down time! But first I can't let these events go undocumented! You've already seen a lot of our San Diego pictures so I won't repeat those. I'll move on!
We didn't get too many pics of our time in Cincinnati - as well - who wants to carry a camera around an indoor water park!
Aiden and Grandpa talking on our balcony
Besides the amazing water park, there was an arcade. I think Aiden had just as much fun there.
I'm bummed we didn't get more photos of our time at Great Wolf Lodge! It was so fun to take a mini-vacation there. We're definitely planning to go back.
We were only home by ourselves for a few days before Grandma Leah came to visit. Leah is Brian's mom and she lives in Cleveland, OH. She's started an annual tradition of coming every October and we've enjoyed taking in the fall sites with her.
This year we took Grandma to Cheekwood Botanical Garden and a pumpkin patch. Sooo fun!

(We decided to put our handprints on our big "family" pumpkin)
The day Grandma left was a sad day! We had so much fun and can't wait for Christmas to see her again!
To help ease the pain of her leaving we decided to go to The Monkey's Treehouse.
We'd never been and got invited by a friend we don't see too often! So, it was perfect! We definitely need to go to this indoor playground more often!
Aiden's friend Caedmon
Yes, it does have a treehouse as the name implies but I realized that I only have a video of Aiden climbing it - and - we still can't get our videos to load on here.
Whew! What a whirlwind month we've had. Our kids have been troopers and surprised us with how flexible they've been. Now, we'll stay home until the holidays! So, it's fall and football around here until turkey and presents come!

Looks like you had an eventful last few weeks. Mom said that she had a blast down there! She also told me about how Aiden would watch her sleep from the stairs. How cute!
