Happy 1st birthday sweet girl! What a blessing you are to your mommy, daddy, and Aiden.
Over this first year, we’ve watched you grow and your personality and sense of humor is really becoming evident. Here are a few things that I love about you.
- You love to laugh.
- You love to make us laugh by making funny faces.
- You’re silly and you know it.
- You enjoy hiding behind doors or chairs, and peeking around to see if we’re looking, then laugh and hide again.
- You’ll look at me when I enter a room, give me a great big smile, and come racing over to greet me. (You’re fast!)
- Your laugh is contagious, especially the big belly laughs.
- The way you interact with Aiden already lets me know that the two of you will be good buddies growing up (you do a good job putting up with him tackling you a lot).
- You love music, and begin dancing when it comes on.
Here are a few things your mommy shared too....all of which I agree with.
- I love how your eyes close when you smile real big.
- I love how you make the perfect sound effects for things – you’ll drop a toy and go “OOOOOH” or "Uh Oh".
- It brings great joy to see you and Aiden playing together – you’re going to be great pals!
- I love how you are so adventurous – it might get you in trouble some day – but right now you have no fear.
- You are one of the most content children I’ve been around, makes a mommy proud!
- You are an EATER. You out-eat your brother at most meals.
A few things you’ve done this year:
- You’ve been a great traveler across the country on various trips from Nashville to San Diego to Detroit.
- You were a trooper at all the Vanderbilt home football games.
- You went to a major league baseball game (San Diego Padres).
- You had fun at a marines air show, until the F-16 Hornet flew overhead. That was a little loud.
- You love the water (whether it’s in the pool or the bathtub).
You are a blessing from God, and we are so thankful you are part of our family. I am excited to watch you grow and see what the Lord has in store for you in the years ahead.
