We spent Thanksgiving up in Chicago with some of Brian's family and it was so nice to see them again. We realized we have never spent this holiday with them and so it was nice to be a part of it this year. We won't see any of his family at Christmas and we aren't sure when the next time might be so we took advantage during our 3 full days there.
I'm now realizing we didn't take any pictures of the full group during the actual eating/celebrating. Oh well! Just know we ate lots of good food and had many good laughs.
After all that eating and then taking naps we were able to go to Uncle Andy's work and see the firetrucks and ambulances!
Then on Friday we were able to go to the Chicago Children's Museum at Navy Pier. It was AMAZING! This is a must for anyone with little kiddos!
Nice role reversal here....
We went to the playground behind the Paukerts house and tried to have a game of football. It was cold! And, we were playing with a 4 yr old and 2 yr old! :)
Stella and her cousin Landon getting to "know each other" well! :) She was hugging and kissing him!
Well there was a ton more cute stuff the kids did, said, etc but I guess I should stop! We really wish Brian's family could live closer as we just don't see them enough! Until next time we'll keep remembering this trip and the fun we had!
