Baseball, Fireworks, Friends and Football

This past Friday night several families went to a Nashville Sounds baseball game. There were 8 kids among us and all did surprisingly well. The game was to be followed by a fireworks show and we weren't sure we'd last through them but Aiden did great and we were able too.

No lie, Aiden sat in our laps watching the game for at least 6 full innings. He followed the ball and would clap and ask for more, more during breaks. It was so precious to see! A true sports fan he is!!

Here are some photos of our adventure...

How we started the fireworks....

How we ended the fireworks...

That was the baseball and fireworks part of the weekend. Then on Sunday afternoon we went to the Vanderbilt Meet the Team party for the football team. This is our second year going and we're thinking to make it a tradition.

Brian, Aiden and Chris in front of the Music City Bowl trophy. Since we made Aiden freeze and go to the game in late December, we figured he should at least have a picture next to the trophy!

And of course, a picture with the head coach, Bobby Johnson.
When told to "Put Lane Kiffin in his place this season." The appropriate response was given by coach "He'll do that himself." Amen! You're going down UT Volunteers!

What a great sports weekend we had and it just got us more excited about this coming fall and being able to take Aiden to his second season of Vandy football games.

He's saying "Don't let me down coach. This is my second season, and I expect another bowl game."
