Music City Triathlon

This blog often features our kids and rightly so, but I finally get a chance to brag on my husband! This past weekend was the Music City Triathlon and Brian has participated in the event doing the swim portion for the last 4 years. His time has gotten better each year. Brian had to be there at 6 and the rest of us Bauman's got there at 7:30. We braved the heat to cheer him on! The kids were major troopers and to my surprise we were able to stay for the whole race - swim, bike and run - portions. So, we got to cheer on our friends as well.

So, last year Brian swam his race in 25:27 seconds. This year he swam in 24:07 - a full minute and some change faster! I can't wait until next year to see how much he can improve! Way to go Brian!!
