C-E-L-E-B-R-A-T-E Good Times Come On!

This past weekend - April 4th - we had two celebrations. One for Brian's 32nd birthday and one for Mark's wedding. We went up to Northwest Michigan for Mark, my brother in law's, wedding and made a quick pit stop on the way to see some of Brian's high school friends.

So, on Friday night we stopped at the Kobylak residence in Grand Haven. Greg Kobylak and Brian have been friends since roughly the 5th grade. It's so neat to see them pick up right where they left off! Reminiscing is so much fun! We hadn't seen Greg since our wedding 5 years ago and he had just had his first child. Now he has three! Which also means they hadn't met Aiden. So, it was a great night. Another friend Chad Wherman was able to come over for dinner as well and Brian hadn't seen him in over 12 years. How wonderful of a reunion.

Aiden and Selah - Greg's youngest - just 3 months apart.

The two families pose for a picture. We didn't get one of the larger group with the Wherman's. So sorry Chad!

Now, on to our second event of the weekend. The WEDDING! Mark, Brian's brother, was getting married to Lauren up in Ludington, Michigan. Pretty far up there on the west side of the state. It was COOLD! But we all had fun anyway.

Here are some photos of our trip. I want to post a lot so I'll keep the "conversation" to a minimum so I can fit more pictures.

Leah and all her kids - except Barb, the big sister, she was unable to make it.

Mark and Lauren with the two grandma's.

Brian, Grandma Joan and me

My two sister in laws - Rebecca and Leigh Anne

Lauren, Aiden and Mark

Aiden at the reception ready for his food!

Mom Bauman, Aiden and me out on the dancefloor!

Aiden and his grandma busting a move!

Aiden and Brian - winding down!

We even got Grandma dancing!

Rebecca and her man Andy

Mark and Lauren - aren't they darling?!

So, this just cracks me up. Brian took like 5 pictures in a row, one second after each other. This was one of them. Hilarious!

At breakfast the morning after the wedding. Aunt Leigh Anne gives Aiden a lesson on Albert Einstein.

We went to lunch the next day and this is four of the five Bauman kids. We missed Barb!

This is the kids with their spouses. For now, Rebecca gets Aiden! I think she's okay with that!

Aiden and I crashed on the way home. Brian, sneaky him, got this photo from the rearview mirror.

I posted some others on our Flickr account so you can click on the title of this post and see more. I'm still bummed. I only got to post 48 to that account due to space. So, we took over 100 and I only got to post half!

On that last photo, was Brian actively driving or stuck in traffic? Carlos searches the web on his phone while driving, but photography is a new one....haha
