Five Years

Today marks the best five years of my life! Today, May 29th, is the day Brian and I both said I DO. It's very hard to believe it's been five years because I remember it so well. My dad, a pastor, performed the ceremony along with our current church pastor Scott.

I remember my dad telling Brian that there was still time to RUN....that we didn't have the rings on yet. Everyone got a good laugh, but I was just thankful Brian didn't take him up on it!

Well, I'm happy to say, after five great years, I don't think either one of us is thinking of running. We've been blessed so much by our great GOD! We've got a wonderful house, a great group of friends, Brian has a job he truly likes, we have one amazing son and then another child on the way. Our family has remained fairly healthy - we have lost 4 grandparents however but all are with the LORD and so we can rejoice.

So, in honor of these five years and the many more to come, I wanted to take a photo trip down memory lane...

Some of you may not even know it but our first ever date and then our first dating anniversary were  both spent with a favorite of mine. Bon Jovi.

Us in our surprise limo ride - 5 years ago.

Our honeymoon, guess where we went?

Posing outside our first home!

The day Aiden was born

Our family just last week

And now our new little baby

Man, what more could a wife and mother ask for! Thank you God for the best five years of my life and I can't wait to see what you have in store for the next five! I love you Brian!!

Happy Anniversary..since it is too late to call, I'll leave a message here. Shelly and I were just talking about it and trying to decide if it was the 28th or 29th...oops, I guess I forgot to call today!
Well you guys are the greatest! I have love seeing you as parents. You have to show us up with teaching Aiden so much sign language, right? He is going to be the bilingual one! Well I am looking forward to what your family will look like in another five years! Love you!
