Cherry Tart

If you've been with us for awhile here on the blog you might remember our kitchen remodeling project. For a jog of the brain click here  or here

The last step - well almost last - was to repaint the kitchen. Well we've gone bold! I never thought I'd want a red kitchen. I'm a play it safe type of gal. A go by the book person. Red seemed way out of character for me. BUT I'm so happy we decided to go BOLD. Thanks to some great friends for "pushing" me to do it. I'm so glad they did.

I love Cherry Tart!

Painting a second coat

Completed photos.... the lighting doesn't do it justice.

Next up is changing out the light fixture and updating all the cabinet knobs! So fun!

Love it!!!! Red's my favorite color and I have a red wall in our den (the rest is paneled). When can you guys come do my kitchen (it's much smaller!)??? :-)

OK it will take some getting used to..it doesn't look bad but it is just a lot to take in. I think you need something on that other wall opposite the fridge. I know you normally have your little chalkboard thingy there..but maybe something else decorative to add some "soft" color over there. Brian you did a superb painting job as usual.
